I created this blog in response to the extensive amount of criticism towards Islam present all over the media. This may be a nation based on the freedom of speech, but enough is enough. The only people with voices big enough to be heard are the ones
against this religion which is generally very peaceful. So, there are a few nut-cases that identify themselves as Muslims and put themselves out there. Every religion has extremists, and it's time for us to bring ourselves out of the dust and make ourselves known as a people determined to make a difference in the world. This is my goal, to open up the eyes of one person at a time beyond the biased crap fed to us every day by the media. If I can make one person realize the truth, I believe I have done a good job.
This blog will be in the format of articles found in newspapers, on television, etc with a little summary followed by my opinion on the topic and then an open question related to that article.
So I'll begin with this question here today. What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you think about Islam?
